Our Staff

Dr. Silver is a graduate of North Chevy Chase Elementary, Kensington Junior High and Bethesda Chevy Chase High Schools, and grew up just a few blocks from the clinic. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Silver is licensed in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia and Connecticut and has been practicing since 1970. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Silver loves working in his garden, going on nature photography trips, and giving top-notch belly rubs to his two golden retrievers.

Amy is our amazing all-in-one office manager. Amy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland and has been a part of our practice for over 35 years. Amy's involvement ranges from answering messages and making appointments to cleaning teeth and assisting in surgery. Amy is a natural when it comes to animals and is truly passionate about her role here at Chevy Chase Veterinary Clinic.

Evan earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he also competed in wrestling. Evan has grown up around animals his whole life, and enjoys interacting with clients and helping patients receive the best treatment.
